Religious Education

The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community…child or adult…is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.

Religious Education Classes

The faith formation in our parish is one of the pillars of our apostolate. Without well-educated Catholics we will create a generation of bad and mediocre Catholics. We need well educated and formed Catholics proud of their faith which they receive from the apostles through the Church that Christ himself founded and thrusted to the care of Saint Peter and his successors.

Sacrament Preparation for 1st Communion

The preparation for the Children to the reception of Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament has a duration of two year at least. During this time they will learn more about their faith, the sacraments and about the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.  The Catechism happens once a week before the 10:30 Mass on Sundays. the Catechism in Spanish happens before the 12:15 mass on Sundays.

Confirmation Preparation

The Young adults and tanagers who want to complete their sacraments of initiation receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation receive a formation which has a duration of a minimum one year. If they achieve the necessary requirements and they themselves are firm resolved that they want to be confirmed they will be presented to the Bishop as candidates for the completion of Christian Initiation.

Vacation Bible School

Once a year at the summer our parish formation team offer a Vacation Bible School for our youth members. this is a time of learning about the Scriptures but also about our Catholic Faith. For more information contact the parish office.
